Data deletion

The snapshot does not contain a proven public self-service flow or Meta deletion callback. This page documents the candidate procedure without claiming automated deletion.

Operational candidate dated October 5, 2026

1. Stop Meta access

In your Meta account’s Apps and websites settings, remove the access granted to FoxCMS. This revokes authorization at Meta but does not automatically erase data already stored by FoxCMS.

2. Prepare a FoxCMS request

  • Use an authenticated session and identify only the account and workspace to be deleted.
  • State whether the request covers the FoxCMS account, workspace, connected social accounts, and content.
  • Do not send a password, Meta token, cookie, or API key.
  • Send the request to the documented institutional privacy contact: [email protected]. Receipt and completion of FoxCMS deletion still require controlled testing.

3. Validation and scope

Identity and authorization over the workspace must be verified before deletion. The operator should confirm which active data was removed and what remained and why. Database, log, and backup periods are not defined in the snapshot and are not promised here.

Current limits

Deletion was not tested with a disposable Meta account, and there is no evidence of a public deletion callback. Before promotion, the Meta app configuration must point to a working deletion URL or public instructions, as required by current platform documentation.
