FoxCMS help

A candidate manual based on controls and responses observed in the snapshot. It is not end-to-end operational validation; Meta connection and external publishing still require testing with an authorized disposable account.

Start safely

  • Create your account and sign in to FoxCMS.
  • Under Your workspaces, use + New workspace and enter the Name. New workspaces start with a 7-day Free trial from the owner account’s registration; a new workspace does not restart it. There is no automatic charge. After expiry, creating is restricted and data is preserved until you subscribe to a paid plan.
  • Confirm the workspace before adding people or social accounts.
  • Create a draft first, then review content, media, and destinations before scheduling anything.

Team and roles

Open Team in the workspace. Under Invitee email, enter the email of an already registered person, choose Owner, Admin, Editor, or Viewer, and use Invite.

  • Owner/Admin: manage members.
  • Editor: can create content.
  • Viewer: read access, without post creation.
  • Email onboarding for a person who is not registered is not implemented in the observed flow.

Connect Meta

Prerequisite: an authorized Meta session with access to the correct Pages or professional accounts. Under Social accounts, choose Connect Facebook / Instagram and complete authorization at Meta. Verify the returned identifiers before using an account.

  • Do not enter a Facebook or Instagram password in FoxCMS.
  • Reconnection, expiration, and revocation were not validated end to end in this audit.
  • To revoke, remove app access in Meta settings and separately request deletion of data held by FoxCMS.

Create a draft

  • Open Posts and write in Post content.
  • Under Action, keep Draft, which is the default.
  • Destinations and media are optional for a draft. An Instagram publication will require a public HTTPS media URL.
  • Use Save draft. The observed engine does not process drafts.
  • Review the item in the list and confirm the Draft badge.

Schedule and publish

To schedule, select Schedule, choose at least one destination, and enter a future date/time; the browser uses its local timezone when converting the value. For an immediate external action, select Publish now, choose the destination, and check the explicit confirmation. This creates the due post and invokes the engine only after confirmation.

  • The separate Process due scheduled posts command asks for another confirmation and handles only due items within the user’s permitted scope.
  • Cancellation and rescheduling controls were not observed in the current interface.
  • The engine skips a destination already marked published, but real retries and duplicate prevention at the Meta API still require controlled testing.

AI and WhatsApp approval

The Pro plan catalog lists AI captions and WhatsApp approval. Corresponding operational controls were not found in the inspected snapshot. No usage tutorial is provided until backend, provider, recipient, history, and limits are implemented and tested.

Reports, media, and errors

  • The catalog mentions Reports on Starter and Advanced analytics on Pro, but operational screens were not observed.
  • The current flow uses a public media URL; file upload, formats, and size limits were not proven.
  • If Plan limit reached appears, check plan and usage; do not bypass the entitlement.
  • If Meta fails, do not blindly retry publication: first check the post and destination states.
